FA Workshop in Ipoh 17/4/2011

I will be conducting FA workshop at the Hill City Hotel, Ipoh, Perak on the 17th April, 2011 (Sunday) between 10.00 am - 4.30 pm. You will learn to paint A Family of Bears using the stippling, shading and highlighting Technique. Those interested can call me at 03-79555909 for more details. Those who had attended my workshop before are encouraged to participate. However new students are also welcome. This workshop is open to those who had purchased my book. However, if you have not bought it, you can purcahase it during the workshop.

A student from Kuantan again

This sis a student from kuantan who came to learn to paint the Garden Scenery. Looks like every one loves doing project with garden and cottage design on it.

Painting on Glass panels

A customer had asked me to paint on these glass panels which is supposed to be part of an old lantern. Because of the design and painting technique required, I had to used both enamel paint and acrylic to create the effect.

Red Basin

This is another old enamel basin that I have painted for a customer who wanted the background to be in red. A difficult task to match the type of flowers and the colour that goes with it. I have chosen to do some roses ...more to the peony colours to make it look less english and more to the oriental look.

Postponement of FA Workshop in JB

We have decided to postponed the FA workshop in Skudai JB this coming Saturday to the following Sunday 10th April 2011 at the same place and same time. Hopefully more people are able to join the event.

Folk Art Workshop at Skudai, Johor Baru

I will be conducting a Folk Art Workshop at the GoodHope Hotel, Skudai, Johor Baru on the 2nd April, 2011 (Saturday). The time is between 10.00 a.m. till 4.30 p.m. The price includes the place, learning fee, tools, paints and other materials required as well as lunch. You will get to learn how to prepare the surface and the background as well as the brushstroke method for painting daisies and roses. Bread box

A new painting project that I did on the bread box. The theme is obviously on bakery but I've made it more english country by having vines and cherries with ribbons on the front and the top.
