Still Life on a huge Canvas

I have taught a student recently to paint Still Life on a huge canvas and the lessons took 10 hours over two days. It was a very tiring process for the student as well as for the teacher too. The finished painting looks really good.....need a lot of patience and stamina to do this type of project.

Students from the north again

A basketfull of Hydrangeas

This is a wooden door stopper which I have painted Hydrangeas and roses in a basket. Quite fun to do since its following the shape of the flowers and basket.

Painted Coconut grater

This a request from a customer who wanted me to paint the coconut grater. Not really too thrilled to do this project mainly because the wood surface is very rough. A lot of gesso and sanding required. Nevertheless painted some coconuts and other related items to make it look more of a kampung style. Not so English isn't it ?...hahaha!

Painted Dustbin

This is an old dustin (a bit rusting on the inside). which I have painted with gesso and three layers of Jo Sonja's background colour. The design is mainly on chicken scenery all around it. Takes me a few days to complete it.

What a life..

This street demonstration is really up to no good to anyone. It has affected a lot of businesses around KL/PJ including mine. I had no sales at all during that day. Only a handful of customers seen in Amcorp Mall. At 2 pm there were only about 10 cars parking in front of the Mall. By 4.00 pm almost half of the shops in Amcorp Mall had decided to closed, these includes Kenny Rogers and Mcdonald. Venting my frustrations I started to paint these jars.......such as life.....

Recycle handbag

This handbag is made of recycle newspaper. I have painted it with some flowers just to make it more funky.

Tulips on the rice bucket

I have painted various colours of Tulips in a flower pot around this large rice bucket. Since the bucket is tall thus it looks better with tulips. Having the tulips in vibrant colours make the the rice bucket looks cheerful.
