Using enamel paint on Mirror

Enamel paint is very versatile. You can use it on many surfaces like glass, tin, mirror, tiles, glazed ceramic, candles and plastics. Here is a sample that I did on mirror. Roses on kitchen things

It is nice to paint kitchen things that are no longer of service to turn it into a decor for the kitchen. Here are some of the things that I have painted with roses but two different background colour. Both background colours gave a very dramatic effect on the items.

Sugar Flower Crafting

Another creation of Wedding cake using gum paste and fondant to create ruffles, laces, ribbons  and flowers. Latest DIY featured in Majalah Keluarga

My craft is featured in the latest Majalah Keluarga. There are three different DIY crafts shown on glass surfaces. Crafting with Royal Icing

After baking cakes and painting them I decided to embark on a new journey in exploring and perfecting my skills in crafting with Royal icing. Not the easiest thing to master this but it is a great challenge. By the way, I will  be teaching again Cake Painting at Amore E bake, Seremban in November. Cake Painting Class in Seremban

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to conduct a Cake Painting Workshop at Amore E Bake, Seremban.This the first time I have conducted such class outside the Klang valley. Everyone seems to be enjoying learning this new technique of decorating a cake and cupcakes. In fact the cake center is organizing this workshop again in November this year.

Stained glass technique on a Fondant Cake

I have applied the stained glass painting technique on a fondant covered cake to great effect using royal icing and edible paint. Need a lot of patience in doing this especially wrapping the fondant on a dummy cake this high and piping the royal icing to create the outline. The rest is mainly shading.
