A can vas bag can also be decorated by painting and decoupage. A good combination of technique. Decoupage is done using Mod Podge as the surface is very porous.

Candle Painting and decoupaging

These are some candles that I have partly decoupage and paint. Turn out very nice and very English style. There is no problem in burning the candles. The candle will burnt the design and the candles gets shorter.

Majalah Keluarga April 2014 issue

My craft is featured in the latest April 2014 issue of Majalah Keluarga under the DIY section. I did three differnt items on recycle jars with various technique and usage of Enamel Gloss paint.

My therapy painting piece...

Woke up this morning still no water. My niece has been admitted to Hospital Haze is still very thick outside. MH370 is still not found. It gets me down. So I decided to paint this as a therapy for myself. 
All we can do is to pray that everything is going to get better.....

Folk Art Cake Painting Class - Hydrangea in Seremban

Last weekend I had the opportunity to teach Cake Painting - Hydrangea at Amore E Bake in Seremban 2. In the morning when I arrived, I was told by the owner of the cake centre ( a former MAS stewardess) that MH 370 has gone missing from the radar. Not a good day but we managed to complete the class.

Stained glass effect on cake

I had the opportunity recently to teach a student learning to paint on real cakes to create a stained glass effect. Four cakes was stacked up and wrapped with fondant to get the height. In order to get the effect we used food paint and royal icing. It turn out quite well with some difficulty.

Majalah Keluarga Photo Shoot Session

I just had a photo shoot session with Majalah Keluarga yesterday. This is for the upcoming issue where by I showed how to decorate 3 different items of different surfaces but using the same type of technique and materials.
