Deepavali Decorations

Ever since 10 years ago when I first open the shop I always wanted to make decorations for Deepavali during the festive season. However I always failed to make time for it. I was quite pleased to be able to make some this year. and it is out of recycle items. At least it's a start.I personally thought it was quite attaractive, creative and productive....

New Napkins design for Christmas

I have received some new napkin design for Christmas. If you are thinking of doing Decoupage on tin, ceramic, wood, glass or candles for Christmas gifts or decorations you can come and visit us. We also have other designs from previous years still available. This time the designs are small which is a lot easier to decorate small item.

Demo at the ICCA event yesterday

Yesterday I had the opportunity to demonstrate Folk Art Cake Painting at the International Centre of Cake Artistry (ICCA), Kota Damansara. A large turn out and I hope more people are now aware about the art of cake painting. Hopefully more people will join my cake painting class. Free Demonstration on Folk Art Cake Painting at ICCA

I will be conducting a free demonstration on Folk Art Cake Painting at the International Center of Cake Artistry (ICCA), Kota Damansara on Sunday 27/10/2013 at 2.30 pm. If you are interested to know more on how to decorate a cake using food paint, please come join me there. It is in conjunction with their Anniversary event where many other instructors are also demonstrating their skills in cake decorating. The event starts at 10.00 am. There will also be products that are on discounted prices. My shop at Amcorp Mall will be closed on Sunday and re-opens on Monday 28/10/2013.

Decoupage workshop at Bayan Indah

I had the opportunity to conduct a Decoupage workshop yesterday for some Great Eastern Life Insurance Staff at Bayan Indah, Sg. Penchala. Everyone seems to have fun doing something creative as a group project. A good way to spend time together with office friends doing something different and relaxing as ateam building activity.

Usage of Glitter Fabridc Paint

It is quite fun to paint on fabric material using the Sosoft glitter fabric paint. It gives a new dimension to the design. However in order to make it permanent on the fabric, you need to iron it before wash.

Still Life painting with coffee theme

A student learning to paint still life on a piece of wood. This piece of wood came from part of the door of a coffee factory and thus she wants to paint something relating to the coffee beans.

Painted Bag using Decoart Sosoft Fabric Paint

This canvas bag has been painted with Maureen McNaughton Strokework design using Decoart Sosoft Fabric Paint. This is one of the item that I did for Nur Magazine. We have quite a range of colours of Sosoft Fabric Paint available at the shop or you can buy online here to paint of fabric material.

You have to use brush to paint on certain areas of the fabric and you should not mixed it with water i.e you apply directly to the surface and then dry it for a day. Before washing make sure you iron the area you have painted. Put a piece of cloth on top of it so that the iron does not come in contact directly on the paint.

Folk Art Cake Painting Class - 13/10/2013

If you like to learn to paint on cakes or cupcakes, come and join my class on Folk Art Cake Painting class at ICCA, Kota Damansara on 13/10/2013 (Sun). 10.00 am for Beginner Daisies and 1.30 pm Intermediate Roses. At MPH, Putrajaya - promoting "Seni Hiasan Kaca"

Yesterday afternoon I was conducting a free demo at MPH. Alamanda, Putrajaya. This is to promote my book "Seni Hiasan Kaca". The technique that I had shown includes glass etching and painting using enamel paint. It went quite well with the crowd there. Those who came, I thank you for your support.
