Another set of wedding door gifts using tin containers. This containers will be filled with sweets and the containers are painted on top using enamel paint. Simple design and simple application.

Hand-painted three-tiered wedding cake

My dream of creating a three-tiered wedding cake came true yesterday. This cake which I had painted through out took three days in making it and I am glad many who attended the wedding ceremony gave positive comments about it.

Here are some of the batches that I painted for a wedding door gifts. These are the last few from the 500 boxes that I did. After painting these boxes you feel like going to faint already. The sealer, background colour, the design and the varnishing are done using Jo Sonja's product.

Cake Painting for Hantaran

This is my latest Cake Painting project that I did for a Malay Wedding -Hantaran. The colour theme is Orange, so I had an orange cake and paint the cake with orange colour roses just to match the request. After painting two big items and now this, my health is already taking its toll. Have yet to do another wedding cake next week and finished painting boxes for another Hantatan thingy. ...I hope I will survive by the end of all these ...hahaha!!!

Signage for a bookshop

I presumed everyome had enjoyed the long holiday last weekend. As for me, I had the opportunity to finished this signage for a bookshop. Once it is being put up in front of the shop it will be a show stopper since it is going to be different from others. I made it look country because the shop sells old used books, magazines and comics. A very rustic shop.

My latest cake painting experiment

This is my latest cake painting experiment. I hope I had improved from my last adventure. Making and painting cake is totally a new experience for me. Not that easy as it seems. Making mistakes to bake a perfect cake, rolling the fondant to the right size, selecting the right paint and colours to match the surface is all a learning experience at this stage. However I already got positive vibes from all the people that saw the cake and taste it. There is great potential in this area.

Elegant Dustbin

This elegant Dustbin will never go out of the door again as I have painted it with Hydrangeas and laces. The lace work took a little bit of time and effort. Otherwise the combination of colours and motifs will make it look very Royally to put dirty laundry ...hahaha!!!
